AUGUST 4, 2004
Future KOME pictures will be added to the Argendeli/Familyroom
picture page located at http://photos.argendeli.com/webpictures
under the sdmedia.misc gallery. Nothing NEW is there now, but
the /webpictures gallery is a consolidation of over 2000 images
from all of my web sites.
Oh well, easy KOME, easy go. The www.kome.com reference that was pointing
here is now pointing to KUFX. Oh Well.

(APril 19 2003) First off, a big THANK YOU goes out to John Higdon who is pointing the
host www.kome.com to this address. I was not aware that this was being
done until this afternoon (shows how often I check my log files, eh?)

As far as updates go, not much new here. I still haven't scanned in all
of the pictures I have, and I still owe John a picture of the KRVE control
board. As soon as I find that one, I'll post it (I'm sure some of you have
heard THAT before....).

Radio-wise, I recently helped a colleague with a demo for a radio contest
down here in San Diego (KFMB-FM). A neat little (7 minute) piece,
the demo turned out just the way Jamie Peters wanted it: cute, more than
somewhat humourous, and clean. Feel free to visit the Jamie Peters Experience in your
spare time. Btw, the contest is over, so don't call the station (KFMB). Feel free, however, to
email Jamie if you are looking for voice talent..

Ps: If you are looking to hire the voice of the intro person, click right here

That's about it. See you on the next update in about 6 months... :)

All photographs on this site are Copyright 1987 Greg Argendeli (argarg@edmin.com)). You can copy
them if you tell me what you plan to do with them.

Note: There are about 100+ photos in this series, but only a few are
worth posting on this web page. Sooo, in a rush to get 'something'
updated, I've scanned about 30 of these and made them available for
all of you KOME fanatics.... enjoy!

The KOME Bulletin Board System entices yet another visitor.
Now on the Internet, this system was started by (....)
in 1985, moved to the station in 1987 by Brad Lee, where he and I ran it for about 1 year or so.
Note the REALLY NIFTY Atari 1040ST CPU (provided by Atari
in exchange for on-air plugs whenever the station mentioned
the system. The number? (408) 985-8675. Sigh, it's a
fax nachine now...

Smile.....

Making their U.S. Debut, Impellitari (who?) Another one-hit wonder
(their 'hit': "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" (guitar only)

{sarcasm}And Now, the standard, backstage, lights, guitar shot
(in black and white to make it look really cool){/sarcasm}
(I actually like this one, but not the way it is presented here). The
color, non-cropped one looks GREAT, but hey,
I had to put at least one b&w pic. in the first group).
